Daniel Heidt (Ph.D., Western), SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2014-16. Co-supervisor with Dr. Steven Bocking, Trent University. Dr. Heidt is the Research and Administration Manager at the Centre on Foreign Policy and Federalism and headed The Confederation Debates initiative to digitize and distribute Canada’s “founding” debates as a Canada 150 project.

Peter Kikkert (Ph.D., Western), SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2015-17. Co-supervisor with Dr. Heather Nicol, Trent University.  Dr. Kikkert is the Irving Shipbuilding Chair in Arctic Policy at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Adam Lajeunesse (Ph.D., Calgary), ArcticNet Postdoctoral Research Fellow, 2013-14; SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2014-16.  Dr. Lajeunesse is the Irving Shipbuilding Chair in Arctic Maritime and Security Policy at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Timothy Winegard (D.Phil, Oxford), Security and Defence Forum Fellowship, 2009-10; SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2010-12. Dr. Winegard is an Instructor of History and the head coach of the men’s hockey team at Colorado Mesa University, Grand Junction, Colorado.
